Clark Huntley Ivers was born and raised in Cary, North Carolina. Growing up homeschooled, he discovered a passion for making movies at age 12. His first films were stop motion animations made with LEGO bricks and a mini DV camcorder. Clark has since become a freelance videographer and editor for individuals, non-profits, and businesses. His main career goal is to become a cinematographer in the film industry. Clark continues to make his own short films in order to gain a broader understanding of film craft and sharpen his skills as a visual storyteller.
Clark is currently a student at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) within the School of Filmmaking. He will graduate in 2020 earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in film. In his spare time, Clark enjoys photography, building things, playing ultimate frisbee, and spending time with family. Some of his favorite films include Star Wars, Short Term 12, Arrival, Inception, and Goodwill Hunting.
